More Teso leaders join their schools in Kitgum for National Kids Championship.

As the National Kids Athletics championship competition which is taking place in Kitgum district in the Northern region of the country enters day two, leaders from Teso have joined participants from their respective districts.

This morning the distirct chairperson of Serere Hon. Stephen Ochola and Hon. Mike Odongo L’Asio of Ngora joined the participants of their respective districts with hope of moral boasting.
“We have come here to give our teso schools a boast, and to encourage them to work harder so we can also get a trophy and medles from this competition” says the two district leaders.
Yesterday the Soroti city woman member of parliament Hon. Joan Acom Alobo had time with the 8 districts coming from Teso sub region, spent time speaking to them, encouraging them and giving necessary support to all of the teso schools participating at the national primary athletic championship in kitgum.

Most districts have complained of bring left alone like orphans whenever they go for national competitions without any support from the district technical officers or political leaders.

This year Hon. Joan Alobo, Hon. Stephen Ochola and Mike Odongo L’Asio have joined the team and promised to spend time with them, provided them with all the necessary assistance they need.
