Bukedea District, March 16, 2024 – The Right Honorable Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, has rallied the people of Bukedea District and the wider Teso sub-region to register as members of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party. At Apopong Primary School in Bukedea District, Speaker Among emphasized the party’s longstanding credibility and the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The registration exercise, part of a nationwide effort, commenced on Wednesday, March 13th, and will conclude on Sunday, March 17th, 2024. The initiative aims to enlist new supporters aged 16 and above while updating the particulars of existing members.

President Museveni, who also serves as the NRM National Chairman, recently launched the registration at the party’s headquarters in Kampala. During the launch, he underscored the importance of scrutinizing potential members.
