Soroti City Commissioner Urges Residents to Install Security Cameras for Increased Safety

SOROTI: The Resident City Commissioner for Soroti City, Peter Pex Paak, is calling on all plot owners in the area to install security cameras around their residential homes in an effort to increase security consciousness.

Paak emphasized the importance of having security cameras in high-profile areas to deter thieves and terror gangs.

According to Paak, many high-profile individuals and plot owners in Soroti lack security cameras in their compounds, making them easy targets for criminals.

He noted that the government’s official cameras cannot cover all areas of the town, making it essential for residents to take their security measures into their own hands.

Paak urged leaders to educate residents on the importance of having security cameras at home, stating that as leaders, they have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their constituents.

By installing security cameras, residents can aid in investigations and provide valuable evidence in the event of a crime.

In light of the increasing security threats in the area, Paak’s call for increased security consciousness through the installation of security cameras is a step towards creating a safer environment for all residents in Soroti City.
