Shs.550 Million Injected into Flood Mitigation Valley Tank in Kapelabyong
The Ministry of Water and Environment has injected Shs.550 million into a newly launched flood mitigation valley tank in Odukul Ward, Kapelabyong Town Council, Kapelabyong District.
The tank is aimed at controlling floods in the area, which have been disrupting settlements and farming activities.
According to Emmanule Opio, Communications Officer for Kapelabyong, the valley tank was constructed to alleviate the suffering caused by frequent floods in the district.
