Residents urged to use quality materials for construction
Residents in Butebo district have been urged to prioritize the purchase of good quality materials for building their houses, following a series of incidents where houses have been destroyed by strong winds, resulting in loss of lives.
James Okurut, the Butebo district LC5 chairperson, highlighted the importance of using durable materials to ensure the safety of residents and their properties.
Okurut emphasized the need for residents to avoid purchasing poor-quality materials for construction, as this can lead to structural weaknesses that may not withstand weather conditions.
