Residents in Amuria district have been a encouraged to embrace poultry farming alongside agriculture.
This call was made by Nathan Okiror the Amuria district vice chairperson who boasts of poultry as a great source of income that can save farmers in Amuria district and other parts of country
He sited the unfavorable weather condition that have not favored agriculture Production in the region, stating that poultry can be a substitute as main source of income.
Okiror however, calls upon the government to partner with other organizations to induct farmers on how to improve poultry production and management.
