This call to action was made during a high-impact entrepreneurship training organized by the Teso region federation of communities, a non-profit community-based organization headquartered at Akisim trading center in Pallisa.

Sam Opolot, the focal point coordinator, mentioned that their organization collaborates with Team Spirit International (TSI), Unleashed Potential in Motion, Relief Aid Foundation, and African Leadership University (ALU) to assist struggling communities in achieving purposeful living.

Opolot emphasized that their initiative aims to empower potential entrepreneurs in Pallisa communities by providing them with the necessary resources, mentorship, and support to transform their innovative ideas into sustainable businesses, ultimately driving economic growth within the community.

James Oluka from Action Aid Uganda Kumi chapter facilitated access to resources (seed funding), skills development, and accelerated growth by connecting participants to partners.

Oluka highlighted the detrimental impact of a fixed mindset on prosperity, emphasizing the importance of taking advantage of business opportunities even with limited resources.

Moses Francis Opedes noted that many individuals tend to overlook local investment opportunities due to a fixed mindset, opting to establish ventures elsewhere.

He pointed out that youth in Pallisa often leave to bake chapati in other places, neglecting the potential for success in their own community.

Pius Odele requested seed capital from the organizers, acknowledging the gap between receiving tips and implementing them effectively.

Sarah Amoding shared her experience in the roadside mukene business, expressing her intention to start a more sustainable enterprise with the newfound knowledge acquired during the training
