Nina Roz Refutes Claims of Receiving Funds from Federation, Contradicting Kenzo’s Statements

Nina Roz has categorically denied allegations that she received financial support from the Federation, despite statements to the contrary by the Federation’s president, Eddy Kenzo.

The singer, recognized as one of the Federation’s pioneers, firmly maintains that she has never received any funds, countering Kenzo’s public assertions.

Expressing her confusion and disappointment regarding Kenzo’s televised remarks, Nina Roz emphasized that no financial support was ever provided to her.

She highlighted her involvement in the Federation’s early initiatives, clarifying that her main goal was to advocate for amendments to copyright laws and to help improve Uganda’s music industry. However, she decided to withdraw from the movement upon realizing that progress was not being made. “When I saw that we weren’t going anywhere, I returned to school,” she stated.

Currently, Nina Roz indicates that her focus is on addressing broader issues within the country rather than engaging in disputes over SACCO funds.
