Police in Kapelebyong District are investigating a tragic incident in which a 55-year-old man was stabbed to death following a land dispute.
The deceased, identified as Julius Owino from Aberan Village, was reportedly ambushed and fatally stabbed by his cousin, Fidel Olwit, over the weekend. According to preliminary reports, the altercation erupted when Owino allegedly refused to assist Olwit in selling a piece of land, leading to the deadly attack.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspect as investigations continue. The police have urged residents to seek peaceful dispute resolution mechanisms rather than resorting to violence.
