Katine Parents asked to Support School Feeding Program

The administration and school management committee of Katine Primary School in Katine Sub-county, Soroti District, has urged parents to support the school feeding program for their P.7 candidates who board at the school.
The school has been running a mini-boarding program for the candidate class, but feeding has been a major challenge.
According to James Ewau, the Director of Studies, representing the headteacher, the school is struggling to provide adequate food for the students due to a lack of support from parents.
Parents who spoke to the radio station acknowledged that feeding the students who board at school is essential and they have been supporting the initiative.
In response to this challenge,Ann Adeke Ebaju, the Soroti District Woman MP, handed over 100kgs of posho to the school and urged parents in Katine and Soroti district to support the feeding program.
