Karieu village authority worried over HIV/AIDS scourge
Authority at Karieu village in Kyakoi parish, Kameke Sub-County, Palisa district is worried of HIV/AIDS prevalence rate following the rate at which women are engaging in immoral behaviours for money.
James Okurut the Karieu village information secretary in Nyakoi parish says that it has come to their attention that a section of young girls and women in the area are selling themselves for money, arguing that this will put them at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS virus, UTI, gonorrhoea among other diseases.
Okurut highlights that having multiple partners is unhealthy urging them to stop the vice.
