DELTA Radio is located in Soroti Municipality in Eastern Uganda, about 300 km from the capital, Kampala. The Radio was established by Soroti Catholic Diocese in 2006, to amplify the pastoral and soci-economic programs of the Diocese among the communities in and around Teso sub-region, especially among the minority Kumam and Bakenyi tribes. The radio broadcasts at F.M 97.0 FM. The radio broadcasts in majorly three languages, Kumam, Ateso and Lukenyi. DELTA Radio covers more than 10 districts in Eastern Uganda. The radio’s stereo signal reaches out to listeners in the districts of Soroti, Serere, Katakwi, Kaberamaido, Kumi, Pallisa, Kapchorwa, Bukedea, Amuria, Kapelebyongand parts of Mbale, Nakapiripirit, Nakasongola, Dokolo and Amolatar.
