Communities tipped on medical advice in the face of persistent cough
Communities in Soroti have been tipped on the importance of seeking medical advice in the face of persistent coughs that has disturbed adults and young stars in communities today.
The cough that has seemingly seen most parents rushing to treat children after a period of two weeks has left many pondering on whether it is Tuberculosis (TB) or Pneumonia.
However, Moses Egwalu the TB and leprosy spokesperson Soroti interest them with the importance of seeking medical advice when the cough is still at an early stage rather than resorting to self medication.
He states that visiting a health facility to see qualified medical personnel can give one factual information about the nature of cough and the kind of treatment to be administered.
