Burial Program For Apio Joan Faith, Pupil Allegedly Murdered at Jozan Primary School Released

Soroti City, Uganda – The tragic loss of six-year-old Apio Joan Faith has left the community in deep sorrow. A young pupil with a bright future, her life was cut short under distressing circumstances.

 

Apio was found dead on February 6, 2025, in a latrine at Jozan Nursery and Primary School. The shocking incident has raised urgent concerns and prompted an ongoing investigation, leading to the school’s closure and the arrest of several staff members.

 

Apio Joan Faith, remembered as a joyful and promising child, leaves behind a grieving family, friends, and a devastated community. As investigations continue, her loved ones are left to cope with the unbearable pain of losing a cherished daughter, sister, and friend.

Burial Arrangements

 

The family has announced the burial program, with plans to lay Apio to rest in her home village of Ateuso.

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: A requiem mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Soroti City – East, to honor Apio’s life.

 

2:40 PM – 3:00 PM: Public viewing at the family’s home in Nakatunya, near Harmony Nursery School, Soroti City – West.

 

Later: The body will be transported to Magoro Health Centre III for further public viewing.

 

5:00 PM: Departure for Ateuso Village, Kapelebyong District, for burial.

 

Apio will be laid to rest in Ateuso Village, Aminito Parish, Akoromint Subcounty, Kapelebyong District.
