Asubu urges Citizens to Prioritize Tree Planting and Environmental Conservation

KUMI: David Asubu, the regional program officer for Action Aid in Northern Uganda and West Nile, has issued a call to all Ugandan citizens to participate in massive tree planting efforts and to refrain from activities that degrade the environment.

Asubu highlighted concerns about the increasing incidents of deforestation and cultivation in wetlands, citing them as contributing factors to global warming.

Asubu emphasized the importance of leaders taking an active role in educating and sensitizing the public on the dangers of environmental degradation.

He stressed the need for collective action to protect and preserve the natural resources that are vital for sustainable living.

In light of these pressing issues, Asubu is advocating for a concerted effort from all sectors of society to prioritize tree planting and environmental conservation.

Asubu believes that by working together to address these challenges, Ugandans can make a positive impact on the health of the environment and safeguard it for future generations.

The call for action from Asubu serves as a reminder of the critical role that individuals and communities play in promoting a sustainable and healthy environment for all.
