Apostle Daniel Emaasit Extends Lifeline to Vulnerable Katine Children as PMCC Steps In With Urgent Support
By Mr Odeke
The founder of Pentecostal Missionary Christian Church (PMCC), Apostle Daniel Emaasit, has once again demonstrated remarkable compassion and leadership after extending critical support to a struggling family in Katine whose children recently lost their mother. The family, now entirely dependent on their father, is living under extremely difficult conditions, with the young children — all below seven years old — facing daily hardship.
The death of their mother left a painful void, forcing the father to shoulder both roles: caretaker, breadwinner, and emotional anchor for his young children. Despite his devotion, the family’s living situation has been far from dignified, as the children have been surviving without basic necessities and proper bedding.
In response to their plight, Apostle Daniel Emaasit stepped forward with a strong demonstration of love and solidarity. On Monday, he donated four mattresses and two pairs of bedsheets to ensure the children no longer sleep on the bare floor. This gesture immediately transformed their living conditions, bringing comfort, warmth, and renewed hope to the grieving family.
The donation was personally delivered yesterday by Mr. Odeke, a well-known radio presenter at Kyoga Veritas Radio in Soroti City, who conveyed Apostle Emaasit’s message of compassion and commitment to the welfare of vulnerable families. His presence and role in the delivery highlighted the unity and shared responsibility within the community to stand with those in need.
Beyond the immediate support, Apostle Emaasit also announced a pledge to provide 20 iron sheets to help improve the family’s shelter. This contribution is aimed at ensuring the children and their father live in a safer and more secure home, protected from harsh weather conditions.
Community members in Katine have praised Apostle Emaasit’s timely intervention, noting that his generosity reflects his long-standing mission to restore hope and dignity to the less fortunate. As the spiritual leader of PMCC, his humanitarian acts continue to strengthen the bond between the church and the community, demonstrating that faith goes beyond the pulpit and into action.
For the grieving family, this support arrives as a crucial turning point during their darkest time. With improved bedding and the promise of a better home structure, the children now have a chance to regain stability and comfort even as they heal from the loss of their mother.
Apostle Daniel Emaasit’s gesture stands as a powerful reminder that compassion can rebuild lives, one act at a time.
