12 women saving groups from Majengo receive seed capital.

A total of twelve 12 women saving groups in Majengo word Soroti City West yesterday received a seed capital from the office of the Member of Parliament Soroti West.
The 12 savings groups have been in existence for over five years with members saving on weekly basis, giving out loans as one of growing the group and helping them with emergency cases like death.

Some of the members while receiving the money said they have managed to educate their children up to the university level, changing their livelihoods through opening business and bringing unity among the women across the word.
Meanwhile Hon. Jonathan Ebwalu said the seed capital will be given to all the six hundred (600) registered saving groups across the constituency.
